I agree with that general principle, but it ends up depending on who else is available at the pick. WalterFootball still had Curtis Samuel, Taylor Moton, David Sharpe, Jordan Leggett, etc all available. I couldn't justify picking Baker over any of them.

Baker has exceptional cover and ball skills. He's also a sound tackler despite his small frame. And very quick/reactionary, which has plagued our safeties for years. A few years of conditioning and he'd be one of the leagues top safeties. We'd be idiots to pass him up at 64.
