Saw one of my buddies who I lived with in college last night and talked to him about Fox.

He said that we'd likely be really happy if we let him go. He mentioned that while he is always shown in pictures with those goofy looks and poo, he is actually pretty brain dead and he thought that he would be even more brain dead now that he has kept Delhomme for too many years.

He talked about how Fox wasn't really even that good of a coach, took him 8 years to get to the Super Bowl once on Jack Del Rio's defense. Apparently Fox didn't even want to draft with a #1 Pick but wanted to trade them all away instead. He is a believer in the philosophy that you do not need go out and win but try and not to lose (sound familiar?).

Overall, said he was definitely not nearly as good of a coach as he is hyped up to be.

      All I can say is... I have some happiness off the rags choking and losing to the Panthers. Hopefully the Western conference team wins the Stanley cup, but now I can be 100% uninvested in the playoffs
