That's my line up, based on the limited amount of time I've seen them play. Chris Scott did not impress me at all, and neither did Yankey, so I expect an OG picked up later after cuts have started to be made.  Amini can slide into the LG spot as well as a backup to cover, if need be. I think Butker takes the kicking spot, if he continues on what he built last night, and gains more confidence. I also wasn't impressed with Southward, and felt McCray played a much better game overall, but who else do we have that can play back up safety at this point? Might be another spot that we pick up after cuts.

Guess I'm like Nippleshorts - I like having the hog mollies on both sides of the ball, which why I feel we go 10 and 10. Especially when you factor in the amount of injuries we had last year. Can't take a chance on not having enough quality depth there.

Is Crume a UT or NT? I would also think we would sign another DT before week 1 and carry an extra DT instead of a DE with Butler most likely out for a little bit.

Damn, you're right. He's a nose tackle, and probably wouldn't supplant Love for that backup spot, but I just really like the kid. Probably gonna be PS again this year, and we'll do a hunt for a backup UT instead. I blame the tiredness on that one, lol. Thanks for the catch.

The reason I think we'll keep five DEs is simply due to the age of Peppers and Big Money.  That's going to be a big rotation, to ensure they don't tire as quickly by the 4th Q, so we may need an extra to keep the position fresh throughout. Again, I'd like to see us keep Cox over Horton, as it seems he has the potential to be a more complete DE, rather than just a run stuffer, which Horton really does well at, but is more one-dimensional.

I really wasn't sure. So a couple of needs on defense are #5 UT and CB.
