G Taylor Moton, Carolina Panthers (82.5 overall grade, 170 snaps)

The second-round pick out of Western Michigan ranked third among all guards in terms of overall grade while leading the pack with his 86.0 pass blocking grade. He ranked fourth among all guards who saw at least 90 pass blocking snaps with a 97.6 PBE after he allowed three total pressures (two hurries and a hit) on 93 pass blocking snaps.

No. I'm gad the Bills actually got him instead. I was worried we'd pull the trigger on a guy who I don't think is worth it.

I like Dawkins a lot and he was well worth that pick but I'm glad we got Moton, who looks like he'll be one of DG's last hurrah pick's. Another Trai Turner but at tackle.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
