Lol I hope you get the Rams as well. They are the best team in the NFC, and will probably go to the bowl. Their defense is a force.

Goff ain't going to run through the NFC Playoffs.  Playoffs will be a different beast (all players talk about that).   This will be a learning experience IMO.  NFC too competitive IMO for him to lead through his first time.

Aaron Donald leads a good DLine that can shut down the Panthers running game like Philadelphia did earlier this year. Gurley is a fantastic back. One gap control mistake and he'll take it the house. Their OL is top notch led by Andrew Whitworth.

It'd be a long road trip and they would be a tough out. That said, I have to agree with @Jon Snow, we're going to have to face them and beat them eventually.

I get everything that you are saying.  Like I said, it is not that I think the Rams would be easy, it is that I know for a fact that the Saints are an awful match-up for us.  We have seen it twice.

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
