When he fell down, I was shocked. He could have easily gotten 10 more like the twitter post said.

Yeh Clay could have gotten a touchdown to sway the momentum, Funchess could have easily won the game for us,...

Bersin caught the ball, got the first down, slipped. Did the most important first though.

id take him over Funchess.

Nothing but respect for the guy. Clearly not a number 1 or 2 reciever but considering he fights for his career year on year, does a decent job and as others have mentioned, is clutch.

Would rather see him on the field than guys like Shepherd.

I'd keep him over Shepherd and Clay in a minute. He's not starting caliber but he's proven he can step in and play a WR or slot receiver when needed. He rarely drops a pass and isn't afraid to block in the running game. He has a rapport with Cam so I wouldn't be in a hurry to get rid of him unless you had someone significantly better to play the 4-6 WR spots.

I bet he could flourish if he played in system like the Pats run up in New England.

Gotta be honest....with all of his lack of speed and athleticism, whenever we call on Bersin to do a job, he does it.

Our issues with our WR core are injury related. And I honestly think, with a healthy Byrd & Samuel.... our WR arent as horrible as we think.

You'll probably disagree with me, but I'm not sure Byrd and Samuel are the solution to our problems. I'll admit that they're both young and have plenty of time to prove me wrong. But, I've haven't seen anything so far to indicate that either is the #1 WR or BIG PLAY THREAT that we need to significantly improve the passing game. Neither is very tall and I haven't seen them getting a lot of separation or getting behind DB's on a regular basis.

I don't know much about this year's receiving class, but if a 6ft (or taller) stud with 4.4 speed (or better) is sitting there for the taking when we choose in the 1st or 2nd round I don't see how we can pass on him.
