Pretty unrealistic but Id take this all day long. Trade our 2nd rounder to move up 8 spots to get Ridley . Still got very sold value picks in the mid rounds , Bates, Ejiofor, and Adams are easily 2nd round talent my my eyes. Mataafa is a bit of a project but hes got a hell of a motor.

Auden Tate actually makes alot of sense in value that late in the draft, considering Funchess is our only WR above 6'1'' otherwise and he might be gone after next season.

Furgeson will take DAs spot. Bit of a risky move to bank on a Rookie as your immediate backup QB but I like his tape. Good size too. Or we could just resign anderson for a year and have him train up Furgeson and groom him into a capable backup by the time Cam hits 30

Round 1 Pick 16 (BALT):  Ridley, Calvin, WR, Alabama (A)
Round 3 Pick 21:  Bates III, Jessie, FS, Wake Forest (A-)
Round 3 Pick 24:  Ejiofor, Duke, DE, Wake Forest (A+)
Round 5 Pick 24:  Adams, Josh, RB, Notre Dame (A+)
Round 6 Pick 23:  Mataafa, Hercules, OLB, Washington State (A+)
Round 7 Pick 16:  Tate, Auden, WR, Florida State (A+)
Round 7 Pick 24:  Ferguson, Riley, QB, Memphis (A)

    • I could be waaaaaaay off about Kon. I do fault myself into, to borrow a NFL phrase heavily "RAS" nerd on players, too much. There are PLENTY of athletic freak shows that are playing overseas(or Amazon delivery) cause they never figured out NBA ball. I can easily miss seeing the talent. Plus did he only have 2 dunks on the season??(is that for real??) I didn't watch over a few hours of duke, but not one point did I think "That Kon guy is a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft". IMO I still foresee Ball bringing the ball up, doing his weak isolation game and never even looking for Kon. That's his best trait according to everyone, shooting right? I do not see ball, bridges, miller or even williams making the extra pass to Kon for him to shoot a 3.  Then defense-wise, Im not ready to type the amount of questions I foresee in his ability for guarding NBA SGs or bench SFs for that matter. Not that NBA players care to defend, but still..... I just feel he's a bad fit for the current hornets, trades are taking place tho... Liam to me is a decent comp for Kon and he fell some, but was a 29 overall pick. Still around 13-21 was the good solid range for Liam and I thought the same for Kon. This is just a classic case of I need to see it. It add to this, Kon is like garlic. Ball is like sugar and Miller is like flour. Mix it together and chef Lee is not going to get me to eat that dish..... Honestly I don't know why Im this vocal about Kon. In past years I would be patience and not post and see what the kid has. The other side, insert classic white boy terms here- _____, ______, _______< etc >. Hornets do desperately need them. His crafty back door cuts, his willingness to stay a extra 2 hours to refine lees plays, keep playing with bruised limbs. I heard from many reports he's mentally tough and hornets by all gods need that. God they are such pussys.  I hope Im wrong and if so, I will give Kon his just props.
