This draft class may not be the strongest...

From what I can tell, RB, TE, G, LB, and S are all very stout. You could argue that none of those positions are as good as last years, but last yeat will probably end up being one of the top drafts of all time.

For the most part though, it is a very weak looking draft. They've got a few very good prospects at the top, but not anywhere near as deep as usual. The position that jumps out as a weakness, to me, is edge rushers. When you don't have a can't miss, elite edge rusher in the class, that's tough. Chubb is a good prospect, but where would be ranked amongst the group last year? Somewhere between Barnett and Taco?

For me Chubb would only be behind Garrett and that's strictly from a ceiling prospective alone.  Only first round rusher from last year that has the consistent motor that Chubb plays with is Barnett but Chubb pass rush moves are a good deal ahead of Barnetts and really anyone in last year's draft.

But after Chubb it gets iffy: Landry has a high ceiling but right now he wins off his speed and will probably fall in the Vic Beasley category of not being an every down player. Arden Key has a Garrett type of ceiling but NEVER plays up to it and he has that off the field Randy Gregory type of feel. And Davenport plays against suspect comp and who knows how he will translate to NFL competition

I’m hoping we can sign a veteran WR that can help day one. With Samuel and Byrd returning that is a position group that will be just fine if we can sign a starter.

Would love to get Stewart’s replacement, long term safety or even a #2 TE that help on the line and give Cam another weapon.

We also need a pass rusher. Either way I don’t think it’s too many holes to fill if we take the BPA according to our needs.

I feel like first round will be a toss up, 2nd is where we hopefully get a Deshon Elliott or Armani Watts, and probably a TE with one of the 3rd round picks( probably Mike Gesicki range)

Yeah, I'd probably have him after Garrett as well, but there would be a gap. I would imagine some people would have him behind Barnett. Most, IMO, would have him behind Soloman Thomas.

Key would worry me much more if he didn't take that leave and was actually getting in trouble. His ceiling is through the rough. Garrett like, like you said. The injuries are a bit of a concern, but I don't worry about his personal life. He took the time to get it together, something Gregory never has done.

Lol, I kinda forgot all about Solomon Thomas...
