Yes the new creative teams are great. Excited about Sentry and it’s the same dude that did Animal Man which was great a couple years ago. I’m pumped Aaron is doing Avengers as well as Thor. It will be interesting to see what Coates does with Cap. I am concerned about my boy Moon Knight, I hope with the relaunch he still gets a solo series.

Why do they keep rebooting issue #s fuging assholes.

It’s absurd. They did the right thing with “legacy” using the old numbers, but this poo is frustrating. Putting them in order with the other collections is a pain and takes forever.

They try to make it easy for fans of the movies and don’t read the books, but only like 3% of ppl who watch the movies end up getting comics. It doesn’t even really matter, yet they cater to their needs instead of the loyal readers. I’ve like Marvel more than DC my whole life, but the last couple of years, DC has been doing it right IMO.

Money mostly. I also think its easier for newer readers to pick up an issue that says #1 instead of #687. Still dumb though. They should keep legacy numbering and just put a banner somewhere on the cover that says the arc name and part 1 of 4 or whatever.

Rebirth has been really good, but it feels a little too safe at times.

I think Black Panther will be interesting. I'm sad to see Waid's Cap run cut short, as that book has been amazing. Aaron's Thor is continuing, so that will still be good. I'll prob check out his Avengers as well. I'm stoked for the new Spidey team as well. The rest I'll prob check out at some point on sales and what not. They'll prob be some good books to come out of it.

    • Absolutely. He just turned 27 a few days ago, so quite young. He and Moehrig would be quite the pairing.  I know we say this every year, but this FA period has A LOT of talent that will be switching uniforms. We were aggressive last year and have no doubt this time next week will have some studs on defense.
    • DJ Moore has always been a bit of an enigma. He came here young, flashed a ton of potential, but never truly grew into a real #1. He’s had a few good reasons, but yet to have a real monster season (outside of his first year with Chicago) We’re still waiting for him to blossom, but he will be 29 next season. I fear that it is too late for him at this point.
    • I have considered free agency.  LT?  Either not good enough or too expensive.  Besides, this is a good OT draft.  (I would rather have a free agent, mind you, but the Panthers' reality suggests we can't do it without neglecting other positions).  What LTs are available in free agency, and what do you expect to pay?  Any Ickey-level OT is going to cost over $20m.   How much do we already have invested in our OL?  I get your point, but I do not think you can spend over $100m per on your OL. We have 2 guards and a right T who pull in about $75m per season.  We don't have a center yet.  Teams just don't let good LTs hit free agency, and when one does on rare occasion, he is expensive.  If you want a third of the Panther cap going to 5 Offensive Linemen, free agency is the way to go.  We still need S, ILB, Edge, WR, etc. I think we'd need more than Nijman--and I would understand if we went free agent for a T--but that is putting a TON of your cap at OL--so considering our situation, I do not see that option as preferable.  You may disagree. If I was not talking LT on our line and thinking about the cap, I would agree 100%.
