Best Mock Drafter

With all of the final mocks being released today I thought it might be interesting to see how these guys actually did last year.

Great article comparing a lot of them.  Basically you get points for how far off your pick was.  Low score wins.

Evan Silva came out on top.  Kiper was actually second which is funny because he tends to be an easy target for fans.

Jeremiah had the most correct picks.  Apearently he had won the two previous years.

The funniest part about Jermiah's picks is that his "worst" pick was Alvin Kamara at 27th (actual: 67th). Even though he was far off, it's probably where Kamara should've gone, if not higher.

Good point, he should actually get more credit for that.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
