Ryder Cup- Who Ya Got?

The Panthers are off this weekend, so Sunday morning should be spent watching what is typically some pretty exciting golf (hey, it's all relative).

Team USA: Bryson DeChambeau, Tony Finau, Ricky Fowler, Webb Simpson, Tiger, Phil, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Bubba Watson, Patrick Reed, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson

Team Euro: Paul Casey, Tommy Fleetwood, Sergio, Tyrell Hatton, Rory, Francesco Molinari, Alex Noren, Thorbjorn Olesen, Ian Poulter, Jon Rahm, Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson

For the USA team, Bryson, Ricky and Tiger are all coming in with momentum; Jordan Spieth hasn't made a putt all year, Brooks and Dustin faded during the playoffs.

For the Euros, Fleetwood, Rory and Justin Rose are coming with the momentum and Sergio, like Phil for the US, is a sentimental pick. Ian Poulter can get the crowd going with his enthusiasm while Tyrell Hatton is fun to watch because he talks to himself more than he speaks to anyone else.

The Euros have home field advantage and, unless Bubba, Brooks and Dustin show up, I'm afraid the Euros have it.

    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
    • Dan's been talking about upgrading CB since beginning of free agency
    • I'm more of a Hornets fan than I am a Panthers fan, I've watched a ton of this franchise the last 20 years. I post all day on RealGM. Don't get your hopes up, this is setting us up for a 20 point loss to the Heat and a swift end to the season. Spoelstra has always solved us, the Heat have two bigs that we have no answers for, and Jaquez is a certified Hornets killer that always plays us like he has a grudge on us. The Hornets being a top 10 team all year and a top 5 team the last half of the year and then flat out missing the playoffs is incredibly on brand for this crappy, horrendous franchise. I would love to be proven wrong. But I've suffered enough to know this little scheme the team is pulling. We finished 2 games out of 6th and guaranteed playoffs, and we blew two games to the Pacers and Nets earlier in the season, when they weren't trying to win. It's just who we are, Hornets DNA
