The Panthers locker room is going to be very different without Thomas Davis, Ryan Kalil and likely Julius Peppers in 2019. Three of the classiest to wear the team colors. Apologies for first tweet that said Matt Kalil.

Know there are a lot of emotions out there about Thomas Davis – as there should be. But after the season finale in N.O., while reiterating how badly he wanted to return, he did also add: “The NFL is a business and I understand it.”

New ownership seems to be making progress toward the idea that even if a veteran player decides to play in another uniform, if their Carolina legacy is a part of the backbone of the franchise they will be welcomed back when they do ultimately hang it up, to retire as a Panther.

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
