Here are all the videos and highlights of Matt Moore on NFL.com. Of course, they only show the good stuff, but to me, he looks like a capable starter. I think the kid has potential and I hope he gets his chance to prove it.

Check out the interview video, Steve Smith makes a surprise appearance lol

I bet if you add them together they are not a quarter of football. If he was better than Jake, Fox would have already put him in. You think Fox wants to get fired? You believe he See's these quarterbacks in practice all week, and doesn't know how good each one is? If he had a better option than Jake, he would have done started him.

As somebody posted in another thread....Henne has turned out to be a better QB than Pennington down in Miami. I very much think this could.....could be a similar situation. I think coaches let their loyalty override their better judgement and I think this is a good example.

look at who they are probably against, I didn't even look at link, but prob Tampa, and Seahawks, who were both beat up

Delhomme just threw 3 INT's against a poo team in Buffalo. Perhaps you should rethink your last statement.

Or do you find Delhommes performance more impressive?

From watching those videos you can definetely see that he has better mechanics than Delhomme. He stands and moves well in the pocket and doesn't stare at any one target too long. Puts a really nice spiral on the ball and his motion is such that he won't get the ball batted down like Delhomme often does. Its obvious that other than a slight preference for Rosario, this guy can actually distribute the ball instead of staring someone down.

The arm strength is again a question though, there were definetely some underthrows, the deep pass to Drew Carter in the Buccaneers game comes to mind first.

I know Delhomme's deep passes just look like wounded ducks these days but I think he may still have a stronger arm than Matt. At the very least though, when Matt throws deep he maintains a tight spiral and doesn't just let the ball sit in the air for all of eternity.

I definetely want to see what this guy can do though, against the Bills everyone harps on the amount of times Delhomme dropped back to pass but in reality all he was really doing was a delayed handoff. The majority of his passes were designed checkdowns. If that is our game plan going forward, we might as well have matt throw those. And if he can make some of those plays featured in those videos, then we'll atleast have someone better than Delhomme.

until Matt moore has a 5 and 4 interception games back to back. I don't want to hear anything from the "Delhomme worshippers". Im sick of it. Matt Moore isn't the best QB ever, but Jake needs to sit on the bench. when you throw 13 interceptions in 7 games, you suck, and your job deserves to be taken away.

    • Even if he beats the odds, returns midseason  and plays like he did last year it won’t warrant a big contract extension.
    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
