Active PUP: Torrey Smith, Jermaine Carter, Brandon Chubb. Hurney says those guys just aren’t quite 100% yet.

Torrey Smith, Jermaine Carter and Brandon Chubb will start training camp on PUP. Smith and Carter both “doing great” according to Marty Hurney - not quite 100%.

 

Hurney says C Matt Paradis is good to go. Same for OT Daryl Williams.

 

 

Hurney says a language issue held up the Burns contract. Was always confident it would get done.

I think this validates that he is and will be RT, period. LT is Little if he can handle it or Williams. Ideal scenario appears to be Little actually playing well and Williams at LG. From Paradis to Moton, we are set. 

That would be a mistake by Rivera. I have no idea why he's determined not to have the best candidate compete there.

He got very comfortable there so I’m good with letting him become a pro-Bowl RT. Also, cap wise, RTs actually make the least amount. I was legitimately shocked that there are more $9m+ and $10m+ lineman at every other position that’s RT. LT is basically the expensive spot and the other 4 aren’t really that far apart. Best case scenario is getting 4 cheap LT years from Little so I’m hoping that’s what happens.

All I know is Williams was All-Pro at RT last time he played a full season there. Moton was going to be our LG until injuries forced him to LT and he played great there then moved to RT. I think it's best to leave Williams at RT and let Little and Moton compete for LT and whoever loses plays LG.
