I repeat, Moore Isn't The Answer

1. The not knowing playbook thing is a rumor.

2. He came in with the game out of reach after McCown got injured. If McCown wasn't injured i'd be wanting him to start. We need someone who doesn't make mistakes as often as Jake.

3. It's worse to throw a pick when you KNOW the playbook dumbass.

4. Don't bother bringing up career statistics again, this affair is about this season. This season only. It doesn't matter if we have Tom Brady as QB, I'd want someone else in if our QB was proving to be a liability like Jake is.

5. For someone clamoring about watching the game, you seriously go watch them again. Straight up do it now. Without looking at a stat sheet which is what you've been doing when claiming to watch games.

So you think backups don't have a responsibility to win? Dan Morgan said a few of his former teammates said Moore isn't starting cause he doesn't know the playbook and is not prepared. He is a good guy, with a lot of character. I mean he stayed at his position, on his college team, cause he can juggle academics and football, unlike Moore. I really wish the kid could start and do good, but he doesn't look that good consistently. 7-12 in games he's played overall? Has two or three of the worst Qb ratings in our history, he doesn't have enough talent to knock Jake out of his job as bad as he is playing, hello? He's looked more and more confused since 07, but if he comes in and wins, Im behind him.

Did you watch the games again? Are you sure? At least look at the play by play. Don't you think his INTs came because he came in as a backup at the end of the game with the game out of reach in order to try to force something and get some points? He was passing every down when he came in.

I'll ask the question again, if Moore is a) lazy B) mentally slow as you insuinate from heresay,

Why is he on the roster and has been since 2007.

Who keeps him there?

And they all say the same thing. they just bring something else into the equation. If he didn't sit there playing with his dick and typed with both hands he'd have the decency to put it all in one thread.

You need to watch your mouth, I have kids in my house and they walk by and read the screen, you don't have any morals

It's censored. So unless they know what the censored word is(and if they do, isn't it ironic that they would know?), it shouldn't be an issue.

You a high character person I see

If this were a kid's message board, I'd talk as if it were one. But it is not. We are adults here, it doesn't mean we should be limited by one person who has children. Instead of changing the majority, why don't you change the hour at which you get on this site, maybe when the children aren't around.

He won the Seahawks game, they had 6 passes dropped from wide open receivers. Alexander was hurt, but started. They missed an extra point, plus a field goal, thats the win for them right there. The Cowboys would have put the game out of reach, but we picked Romo off in the end zone. Tampa Bay sat all of their stars on defense, cause they had to play a wild card playoff game a week later. He threw one pick in the Tampa game, should have had another one or two for sure. I don't see what you people see, unless you are doing what about everyone who calls me out about this is doing, watching these highlights on here and not the whole games. Jake sucks I agree, but if the coaching staff says he's our best quarterback, he probably is. They see all 3 of these guys in practice, so they know more about them than we do. Now we got linebackers telling Dan Morgan that Moore doesn't even know all the plays! That tells me how much he likes his job. He had to leave UCLA because of grades and go to a community college. Does that tell you anything? The kid is apparently lazy.

If you are going to bash someone for their playing performance thats fine but when you bash someone for their smarts thats another thing and you had better have your facts straight...Moore left UCLA after he won the starting job then was injured and wasn't going to be given an opportunity to start again...he had to sit out a year so he went to community college at home...then was offered another scholarship and won another starting job....seems to be a theme with this guy, given an equal competition and a chance to prove himself, he wins the job! Give him a chance!!!

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
