Chris Carter & Stephen A. Smith Believes In Our Team

They say we can bounce back after watching the game. They gave credit to the Giants, but they know we should have kicked them in the mouth when they was down. So we should feel good. Stephen said if we get another chance, we can go back up there and beat HIS Giants

Meanwhile Skip Bayless did a 180 on our team. He pretty much blamed the loss on Kasay stutter step. And say that will be the turnaround of Giants team, and we they cant beat us AGAIN if we meet

But as I figured, nobody mentioned we missed our starting two DT's

Its a shame about the wind. I personally feel Smith should've been more involved when we were ahead to give us that buffer.

I don't really feel angry about anything. We were banged up on D and the Giants played extremely well. Not a huge downside to the performance we turned in.

come to think of it, i think the stutterstep had something to do with the miss. it was almost like the ball was supposed to be snapped then when kasay started. had the ball been snapped then, the wind would not have mattered b/c the ball would've curved still, but within the crossbars. the gust of wind came at the right time. the stutterstep threw off the timing.

just my opinion, not an excuse. more of an observation

nothing to be upset about, we should all be able to find a little comfort in how close it was and the fact we still had a chance to win it. do you really think we will give up 300 yards rushing to them if we play again? when you lose TOP 40 to 25 minutes, give up 300 on the ground, missing both DTs, and have a chance to win the game with a field goal on their field i think thats a pretty good sign.

I don't understand why everyone needs some d-bag with a voice to reassure them that their team is good. Who cares what they say, just from watching the game you can tell that the panthers are far from being out of the SB race and that it is ridiculous to think that we would have no chance to defeat the giants.

    • All signs point to legit. We’ve been way better than our record the last few years it’s just we’ve had brutal injury luck. Also I’ve watched nearly every game this year and 3 things have stood out to me even when healthy from early in the year to now: 1. Early on Lee had some brutal rotations and situational coaching but he’s improved a ton there. We lost some close ones early we should’ve won. Sure most our recent games have been blowouts but in close games we’ve improved a ton there. 2. Defense. Overall team defense has improved so much, it’s not just hot shooting winning games. This D is absolutely a real trend and sustainable. LaMelo in particular has gone from flat out bad defensively to above average. We have so much length we always should’ve been good defensively but it took time for guys to buy in and really hone in on it which they have.   3. Pretty much all our young guys have taken strides forward. Moose’s development as a passer has been insane, Miller is putting it all together to be an elite 3 tier scorer able to hit 3s, mid range and finish at the rim. LaMelo still some poor shot selection but has cut the turnovers considerably. Kon has been a great shooter all year but has steadily improved in other aspects of the game too.      It has definitely been surprising how quickly it all came together out of nowhere but really none of it surprises me. We’ve been building towards this for years now.
