I put that part in there so this thread did not give credence the the Kyle over Cam thing.  Cosell said he couldn’t make that determination whether it was that or a personnel thing that made it work.  There were other threads on here about how CMC was better with Kyle.  I was just trying to point out that if one of the best in the business couldn’t make that determination then we as weekend warrior GM’s shouldn’t be jumping to the conclusion that CMC is better with Kyle because he will play under center.  
 

Just trying to be unbiased and just give you guys the facts.  

Of course CMC will be better with Kyle than Cam. First of all Kyle isn't running so all the carries Cam would get, CMC gets. And when pressured instead of running Kyle will throw because he is more of a pocket passer.  And knowing he is still learning defenses and figuring out the protections and hot reads, we are going to use the running game and CMC to do a lot of the work on first and second down so we end up with 3 and short which is eminently easier for Kyle to manage.  Under center we use more running formations so naturally you might get more yards per carry. Ok huddlers, how many of CMCs big runs have been while Kyle in under center versus in the pistol or shotgun. A couple of those could really skew the comparisons.  I don't think it is about Kyle being better than anyone. Right now the injury to Cam made other players have to step up to fill the void. Everyone is pulling together with one mind. Win this game and move on. Everyone doing what they can. A true team effort. After last year's collapse, 5 out of 6 wins seems amazing with a UDFA.
