#FakeNews

If anything the other players applauded Ol' Rowboat for holding Superman to the same standards as every player is held to.

Cam would have been MUCH better off if The Rower had done so from day-1...

may be...but the relationship hasnt been the same...its obvious...pull him off to the side and tell him....billicheck wouldnt do brady that way.. brady wouldnt do billicheck that way.

Cam knew the rules.

That couldn't have been a first infraction...

...but rather the final straw.

Is their a source for this?  I couldn't find a straight up comparison of only our first year to present.  Just a selection of snap shots based on the article.

Panthers are just barely under .500 in franchise history.

From 2010-2018 Carolina is number 14 in the NFL wins

10th in Playoff wins from 1996+. 11th in Playoff games 1996+.

Are all those stats showing to be a long term mediocre team?  Yes.

Does it need to change? Yes.

Is it a bottom 30% team?  Doesn't look like it.

I made a thread a couple years or so back comparing every team’s stats over the past 25 years of football.

It’s funny because around that time (and even now) everyone always gave the Jaguars poo but they’re the most similar franchise to the Panthers in the NFL.

Maybe this team trended upward to below mediocrity to mediocrity recently and dig themselves out of the bottom 30% but I don’t think, since 1995, they’re that far from it. I think when I made the thread we were 23rd...and now we’re closer to 20?

All I know is either way, none of being ok with that is acceptable.

Accountability works both ways.  If Cam allowed something so minor as his fashion faux pas to fester and undermine his relationship with his boss then shame on him.

As of right now, he is 76-61-1. That still mathematically qualifies as most.

That’s still a win percentage of around 55 percent. I didn’t know there was a mathematical definition of most. There’s a mathematical definition of more than half, which his record is, but personally I consider most to be significantly more than that, say around two thirds or 70 percent.  But that is my subjective idea of most, not a mathematical fact.

Just gotta say that if you’re a multi millionaire franchise qb in the NFL and you let being disciplined for a team rule infraction have a meaningful impact on your relationship with your HC, imo that’s on you, not the coach, and I’m a guy who wants Ron gone.

I'm not real sure what to make of Sorensen's take that Rivera is now linked to Kyle Allen.

I would agree he generally comes off as a big booster.

Is that Sorensen's way of stating that Cam and Ron have had a permanent falling out?
