He was gone since last week. He needed a miracle, I told you, but that quest is over. Saving face, winning almost, and injury excuses aren't gonna cut it. 

I like Rivera, but he got a fair shot. It's time to move forward now.

You have to win your division. You have to win the close ones. You have to develop a mentality that mediocrity is not acceptable. And if you want to make that statement as an owner, I think you fire Ron now. The season is done for us. Establish a new team psyche. Take the time now to get a really good head start for a GM and a coach. And give fans some hope.
