Sounds to me like justification of another losing season of the Ron and Marty show. They are starting their face saving case like they did last year.

If you don’t think he and Ron are in save their jobs mode then you are oblivious. Ron has a lot more chance to land another gig than Marty does. 

  To be fair, Any one of us has a lot more chance to land another gig in the NFL before Marty does.
