I would like to see what he can do... but our line is trash and to put him out there in those conditions could destroy his confidence. That is a good way to ruin his  career. 

I woukd rather shore up the oline and give him a shot next year, unless of course a starting qb falls to us in the draft.

Nah, he's not the answer. No reason to give him valuable experience. That's what we're doing with Kyle. Is he the answer? Highly doubtful. But let him finish what he started. His stats after 14 games will be that of most other rookies I'd imagine. Let him earn the #2 spot next year.
