My tribute to Ron Rivera.

I felt it was semi-topical, with his termination this week and Carolina facing Atlanta today. Two of Ron’s biggest wins came in Atlanta, both clinching NFC South division titles. 

It’s been a very positive week overall, I would say. The coach and the organization somehow pulled this off with a complete touch of class. 

He was certainly subject to criticism. And that goes with the job description. Coaches make a lot of money to absorb that piece of it. As many here have stated, sometimes it’s just time to move on.

But this feels different. Somehow, and maybe it’s just me, it feels more settled. More amicable. David Tepper probably has something to do with that. As does the fired coach. He never sulked.

And that’s impressive.

Anyway, here’s a look back at some of the great moments in this series from the Rivera Era. Let’s bring home a W.
