There was a targeted conspiracy against Cam Newton because he called out the head mafia boss, Hochuli, by name at a press conference.

That's very taboo and they had to make an example out of him to deter others.

I do think there was also a racial element to it unconsciously, but the primary factor was Hochuli issuing a fatwa to his goons.  They were taunting Cam with how powerless he was (and other defensive coordinators began to realize it and told them to take his head off).

If Rivera weren't such a cuck, he would have created an uproar over it instead of saying he would have taken a shot himself.

Not sure I agree with all this but the part where you called Rivera a cuck immediately made me laugh.
