Does anyone find it hard to dislike the Saints?

Dude, Donavon Mcnabb treated Carolina like everyone treats you. How do you think Brees will treat that secondary?

If you think this is the same Panthers defense that played in week 1, then you obviously haven't watched the Panther play lately. The difference is like night and day.

There you go, you guys are %100 right about this not being about history, because history don't just change from year to year, it actually can change from game to game. Like for instance, how your vaunted run defense just got exposed less than a week ago.

And no, I'm not saying the Panthers are going to win, but I am saying that it won't be as easy to beat us as you think it is.

yo mean like he did last year?

so you can call out Turner for having a good game against us, but I can't call out McNabb for torching you? Come back on after you grow some pubes boy.

boy...wow

mcnabb did not torch us and did not even break 200 yards for the game iirc.

and we were talking about how terrible yoiur defense is as was seen last week. Not how we gave up two td's to a qb who started on our side of the 50 every time against a team with no starting lineup solidified in week one.

grow up little girl. you are grasping at straws

you really want me to start looking at game stats? 3-4 chief. 3 and freakin 4. You are the cockiest 3-4 fan I've ever met. If you are so freakin studly, why didn't you beat the Bills? Oh, I guess there is gonna be some excuse right. Bring your best Sunday, let's see what you are made of.

Dude, how many ways can we say it, the excuse is JAKE DELHOMME. For every loss, the answer is Jake Delhomme.

The only difference is now we have a game plan that minimizes his role while still forcing you to respect the pass.

I actually watched the Dallas game. Let me tell you Jake wasn't your problem there. Pitiful running game, no open receivers and Dallas ran on you like it was nothing. So was that one Jake's fault?

why are so many of y'all bickering about the history of the teams? Billy Kilmer isn't our QB anymore. Neither is Archie Manning or Bobby Herbert. This is a whole new team. It doesn't matter we the Saints did 20 years ago. Heck, 20 years ago our players were just starting little league or something.

Focus on this year's teams. The past doesn't matter. It really doesn't determine who is going to win this Sunday. If all you have to argue about is the past to justify who has the best team THIS YEAR then you have already lost the debate.

    • Malcom Spence is the best player remaining, hope he’s there.
    • The era that you played in, and, more importantly, who you played with actually matters. Honestly, that's why these issues will be debated forever, as it's just difficult to say that this person or that person is better when you're discussing the passage of time. As for me, after Rice, Moss and maybe Megatron and T.O., there's probably a dozen or so guys that can be argued about to the cows come home. Personally, I'm not putting Fitz, Harrison, Johnson, Evans, or especially D-Hop, Jefferson, Chase or Hill definitely in front of Smitty (and Colston ain't even in the discussion). Context and all that stuff actually matters. Things like the triple crown matter.
    • Some of those guys? Yeah honestly you can.  I would 100% take Steve Smith over Larry Fitzgerald, Harrison, even Mike Evans. He is 100% a better player than those guys in his prime. If you look at the numbers Smith is historically under targeted in comparison to his contemporaries. He was only targeted 150 times or more only once in his career. Fitzgerald for example was targeted well above that 9 different seasons. Had Smith played with Peyton, Brady, Greatest Show on Turf, or even with Warner in Arizona he would broken records. His 2008 season was ridiculous accumulating 1400 yards in 13 games on less than 80 receptions. All time he also lost a season due to injury in 04, barely played WR as a rookie. Got robbed of 1k season with Clausen. Thats easily another 1800yds minimum that should have been tacked on to his #s. The only guys I’d say for certain are better than Smith are Rice, Moss, TO, Megatron, Julio Jones, Antonio Brown.
