Last night was a bad sample I think.

The scheme basically was stop the runs at all costs, and keep everything in front of you in the secondary. EVEN IN THE ENDZONE. :cry:

You're right. Honestly it didn't even look like they were trying to break up passes. It looked like the plan was- let them catch the ball and THEN try to stop them. It was painful to watch.

For the first time in a long time I can't find the logic in it either.

No wonder the CB's have such a dejected look on their face, they are part of a scheme that makes them look like fools. NO CB can COVER THAT WAY.

I wouldn't go so far as to say Beason is better than Morgan was (when he was healthy). Morgan was a great middle linebacker for us. Beason is too, and if he can stay healthy, he probably will end up being better than Morgan. Morgan's only problem was that he couldn't stay healthy.
