Was Michael Oher's injury the worst thing to happen to this team in the last decade?

I am not a big fan either but Mike Shula led the #1 offense in the league in 2015.

It was #1 in points. It was like 21st in ability to move the ball.

Take away the great field position the D constantly gave the offense (and Cam’s red zone threat), and that unit wasn’t all that great.

Please explain how "one of the worst run teams in the NFL over the past 15 seasons" has a winning record?

We are 5,5 games over 500 in the period you picked. If you want to cherry pick in 04 just after our first sb we are still over 500.

We are a mid pack organization just like a vast majority of the league is. No more och no less.

Just because we had a couple of HOF level players on the roster that pushed us to some wins doesn't change the fact that this team has been horribly managed for a very long time.

How many winning seasons did we have during those last 15 seasons?

4 out of 15?

    • We’re past the talk and hypotheticals with Bryce. If he needs a perfect game from his receivers to not put up a stinker he’s not franchise starter material.
    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
