Kinda. I'd respect him a lot more if he hadn't spent the next several years dragging them down to mediocrity.

I think that championship was kind of a perfect storm.

Yep. Gruden basically got Dungy's team over the hump then proceeded to run them into the ground.

I think the final straw was when they were ready to part ways with Monte Kiffin.

Gruden owes an awful lot of his prior success to that man.

Rivera definitely went too far in the other direction.

I appreciate wanting everybody to have a happy ending to their career, but when you let that desire affect your decision making, stuff goes wrong.

Yeah, sucks for Burrow and the Bengals. He was having a really promising rookie season. Hope he can bounce back from what looked like a really bad injury.
