When you KNOW that it's a windy night and you need to get closer than a 50 YARD FIELD GOAL, it would be in your best interest once you get a first down past the 50 yard line near the end of regulation, LIKE THEY DID, to throw the ball to Smith at least once.

YES, RETARDS, they threw the ball to Smith once on the last drive, but that was WELL BEFORE they got pass midfield.

Once you got a first down pass midfield, you should have thrown a pass at least once to try to get as close as you could.

Forcing Kasay to kick a 50 yard field goal in those conditions gave this game away.

It has already been explained to you that Delhomme wasn't comfortable throwing into that wind. Also, the Panthers threw about 4 passes in the 4th quarter against the Bucs, but nobody was calling that a conservative effort simply because it worked...that is the only difference, retard.

Just about everybody the Giants have played has had a hard time stopping their running game, including the Ravens... except for when Jacobs didn't play. Did anybody here really think this would be easy?

BTW, calling Smitty out for a stupid play, doesn't mean I've turned on him. By the same token, how can you just give him a pass? They could have easily made that a 15yd personal foul instead of just a holding penalty.

I am a big matt moore fan, loved him ever since I saw him playing in college. Yes I would like to see him get some snaps, but Jake has been playing great. One thing you DO NOT see is me bashing jake in any of these threads. Jake is my quarterback right now even though I do like matt moore more than I like Jake. I haven't turned on anyone on our team.

It makes as much sense as throwing Trgovac under the bus for losing one game against the world champs, and when he was forced to play a 6th round pick who was on the practice squad a couple of days before the game, and had never played in a regular season NFL game in his life, and having to do it at the most critical time of the game against the best running team in the league. you're right, congratulations! I'm not a PSL owner, but how many 21 year old college students that live in myrtle beach are psl owners? And when I drive all the way to charlotte to see a game, I stay until the end of the game. For you to even make assumptions like you did that had nothing to do with anything at hand shows me how much of an idiot you are. Read message boards from any team in this league and the same themes will be played out over and over. The mood is positive after a win; it trends toward negative after ANY loss; it can totally meltdown when it starts looking bleak and it can get downright euphoric when everything is going right. Beyond that and somewhere in the pile of threads and posts, folks are still watching the games, enjoying the wins, bitchin' about the losses and hoping for the best. This is the team, coaches, schedule and record we have to work with at this point. I can accept that and continue pulling for the Panthers. The team has one regular season game to win and a #2 seed on the line. At this point the game is actually more important than what might have been last week.

John Fox wasn't calling pass plays because Jake wasn't comfortable throwing the ball. With that said, I wish that Deangelo Williams was the Back in OT. Why play the backup in Overtime when you have the best running back in the league on your squad?
