williams's knee "injury" a fake?

DeAngelo Williams laughed off questions about his knee and was apparently unaware he was even on the injury report last week.

Williams' knee is not an issue. Even coach John Fox admitted that no one was buying the claim that his No. 1 running back was ever questionable for last week. Williams is a fine RB1 against a middling Jets run defense this week.

he hurt it during the game...but in this league you have to report anything that might still be an injury...only deangelo knows if he is hurting or not..

At this point in the season there is no way DeWill's knees aren't sore. The reason it was listed in the injury report is because the Panthers gave him a day off from practice to rest. If you do that in the NFL, you have to list a reason.
