Wow. BJDJSer... At this point I, and many others here, WILL take ANY QB who plays well. Have you not been watching the games this year, and the playoffs last year? Stick a fork in your boy Jake, he's done. Might as well have served him up on a platter for thanksgiving.

You clearly are a fuging moron. IF you werent such a newb and had been here, you would know that I am far from a BJDJS.

I have made many references to Jake Delhomme as a "retard".

Jake is worse than awful.

My point was that every QB in the league has had good games, even Jake. And just because Dixon is playing well in the 1st half of a football game. Everyone here wants to hand over our franchise to him for 10+ years. haha. Its really comical.

He has basically played one good half, and now he is Tom Brady.

I'm not saying he isnt good, but lets keep things in prospective.

I usually like your posts Bruce, but maybe the game has pissed you off for the rest of the day, b/c I am keeping things in perspective.

I made this thread before the Steelers even had the ball offensively and said, WATCH DIXON. Meaning he hadn't played in tonight's game yet, so my bet that he would be a great QB for us was based off my own previous observations of him and I thought everyone should watch tonight to see for themselves.

Dixon is good, and out of all the names that have have been thrown out on this board, he stands out to me over Jackson, Thigpen, Anderson, Quinn, etc.

Ahhh, the pretentiousness of this forum creeps its ugly head out again. If you never post here you're considered a troll and/or a bandwagoner, but if you have over 750 posts you might as well work in the Panther FO. I get it.

With that being said, name ANY QB in the league who wouldn't do better than Jake Delhomme... I'll take David Carr or Kerry Collins over this crap. For crying out loud put ANYBODY in there except for Jake.

If you don't feel the same, I still don't know what games you've been watching.

Haha, I am calm. I got pissed when I was accused of being a BJDJS because I wasnt just jumping on the Dixon Bandwagon. I understand you had high expectations for him before the game, and the 1st half backed up your high expectations.

But you have to agree, that anytime any nationally televised game is played and a starting QB plays well. This site has 3 threads about how he should be playing for us, or how we need to draft him.

If I had the effort in me I would look up some of the threads started about different QB's, we missed on or need to draft but heres a few.

Joe Flacco

The Golden Calf of Bristol

Sam Bradford

Jake Locker

Vince Young

Brett Farve

Tony Pike

Chad Henne

Colt McCoy

These are only a few, but all of these guys should have been or could be the Panther's Savior.

      No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.

      It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
