John Fox is a Stubborn Piece of Sh*t

My fear is that he will start Jake for experience next week. He might have a point because NE will throw alot at Matt Moore but I say fvck that and let the kid play.

BTW was Delhomme on the side lines today?

I think Belichick would prefer us start Jake. That way he knows he won't have a battle like he did this Sunday.

I realize you want to see what Moore would do, but the only thing that matters is that he did what he was asked of him.

Come on, this is the gameplan we've been asking for for weeks. The only thing that matters is that Moore can do what's asked of him inside this offense.

If we start him the rest of the season, you can bet that the coaching staff will let him do more and more as he proves himself capable (and as other teams gameplan even moreso against the run).

I finally had a reason to be excited about one of our games since the season started with Moore finally in there, and this jack ass pulls the reigns in on him...

Moore looked outstanding and accurate as expected on those opening drives, other than overthrowing Smitty wide open in the end zone on the second drive. I didn't see the INT on the 3rd drive, but my point is...

You let Jake throw 3 INTs in a half and let him keep slinging it around the entire game, but you don't let a guy who is making his reads and throwing more accurately throw but 20 times??? Ridiculous.

I was actually hoping the Bucs would score with about 7 mins left just so we would have to let Moore throw it. It just pisses me off... Knowing Fox, he probably was avoiding allowing Moore throw it so he wouldn't look so stupid for leaving him on the bench. Jack ass...

And if I remember correctly, the throw to Smitty looked like the only play they had called with a guy running past 20 yards... He's such a stubborn son of a bitch. Admit you were wrong, and let the guy go. Let him play!!!

We've got to see what we have for the next coach to work with, and I want to know if Moore has a chance to be the franchise QB. I know Moore has potential, but we have to find out if that potential has been realized.

Here's to hoping Fox takes the kid gloves off next week... Piece of poo...

It was actually Moore who made the call to run the ball.

which was actually a good call. It put us up by two scores getting the fg and not forcing a pass in that scenario. Moore has watched Jake kill this team all year w/ killer turnovers.......that was a nice check to run given the scenario and putting Tampa behind by 10 instead of a gamble that wasn't needed at the time.

Still... He's a stubborn piece of poo.

And if this is the case, why wait until late in the 4th to allow Moore to finally check whether he wants to throw or run? Why wasn't he slinging it earlier in the game like Foxy lets Jake do?

I get it. I'm just saying for argument's sake...

We're a running team, that's our bread and butter. And for good reason. But, like I said... Jake's allowed to throw 40+ times a game and turn it over 3+ times in multiple games this season, but Moore was making reads, throwing with some zip, and throwing accurately is kept from throwing???

Moore should've been the QB in since week 2, Foxy has a double standard for his favorites.

I always loved Jake's game, but it was clear towards later in the season last year that he had lost something. This year, it was clear Week 1 that he wasn't Jake of '03... Or even '07 for that matter.

Agian:

Third string QB

4th carrer start

1st start in two years.

Lead agianst a bad team

Running team, and running very well this game.

Why would you throw it much more?

Give Fox/Davidson a little bit of sympathy lol. But really think about it. It was his first start in a little while so lets not let him throw it crazy

20 attempts not week wont be enough though because their secondary is not good. It would be better if we had more options in the damn passing game. Unless we run and get great yardage, running again is not good either. We're going to have to mix it up

I get what your saying as far as the game goes, but as far as his position on the depth chart and # of starts - I don't put a lot of weight in that considering how long Jake was starting in front of him this year.

    • He's not wrong though. You talk like a politician on here. Leaving yourself just enough wiggle room to say you never fully counted Bryce out if you need to....But we can all see it. Just say you think he is a bust outright and you will have to type a lot less. Obfuscating your opinion behind QB3 competitions etc....
    • Most EVs are in the 90+ e-MPG meaning some measurement house somewhere compares the EV to a similar ICE model and works out how much is costs to charge (on average) versus fill up as a point of comparison. Talking long term, in the hundreds of thousands of miles?  No clue.  Some early signs are that EV batteries maintain 80% charge over 400k miles.  So there's that.   The challenge and charm of an ICE vehicle is being able to park it under a tree, get your jack stands out and tinker with your engine.  There's just not that same level of complexity in an EV.  I saw someone estimate there are 200 or so moving parts in an EV, and 2000 in an ICE vehicle.  I'm not a part counter so I can't really speak to that. I think that the EV is more the future than any type of combustion engine.  Those will still be around in specific purposes, but for most people - an EV will be the superior option in terms of efficiency.  I say that as someone who loves stupid horsepower numbers out of turbo 4 bangers and inline 6s...  I am one of those tinkers when I can be. A bigger issue for EVs is going to be the ownership versus lease.  Right now, there are INSANE leases on EVs, which is great, but what do you have at the end of that lease?  Nada, maybe some equity if you're lucky.  Where as I'm almost done paying for my car, and plan to keep it until the wheels fall off (or my son wrecks it when he starts to drive).  Will EV makers do the smartphone thing and build in planned obsolesce?  Stop updating software?  I love the tech in EVs, and I think getting more cars and trucks off the road is a good thing.  But I am still just a little concerned.  Capitalism has gotten far too extractive.
