Nice one! I didn't catch anything sizeable this weekend but I caught 10-13 inchers I til I got bored of doing it and went home.

I was catching some nice fish around this time last year. Hopefully I'll pick up some sizeable ones before summer hits. I really need to do more floating of the Catawba tailrace. It's in my backyard but I haven't floated it in years. There used to be some hog browns in there but I here it isn't fishing in recent years like it used to.

The fish I pictured came out of Luke Kuechly's preferred WNC fishery. It's the closest stream to me but I honestly prefer quite a few other streams over it. I only fish it a handful of times a year despite it being the most convenient to me.
