Where the QBs may land in the 2010 Draft

I dont think the Jags will take him. ..David Garrad (terrible with names) is a good QB, and much better than The Golden Calf of Bristol will ever be...

maybe be true, but right now, they need to sell tickets. The Golden Calf of Bristol "puts butts in seats" Jacksonville is in danger of losing their team all together. I their last game they had lowest attendance recorded in 14 years.

Teebow is too emotional, and needs a lot of grooming, which we surely don't have the staff for. There is no way we will draft him. Personally, I am tired of seeing QBs who whine and complain and cry. Do you see Manning or Brady doing that? These 'intangibles' as they call them in a QB are pretty crappy, just emotional bullshit. Sure they are best to have when your winning but staying focused when it gets tough is the key.

Why doesnt anybody think The Golden Calf of Bristol could be a catching TE??

I dont see him as QB or RB in the NFL, but he could be the next Witten or Gates.

are you kidding? everytime you listen to people talk about The Golden Calf of Bristol, they say FB or TE. most of them anyway

..I just don't think the Jags would waste a pick on him..just to 'get butts in seats'..a Big FA signing or trade would do that..or better marketing..they are the only NFL team that has problems getting people to care..even where they are in the playoffs. lol..put some billboards up..they have the 4th best RB in the league.

The Golden Calf of Bristol has the best intangibles in football what you call emotional I call great leadership.

If Fox is back, I imagine The Golden Calf of Bristol will be his favorite in the entire draft. Recall his three criteria, in order, for what makes a good QB.

1) Leadership and intangibles

2) Football smarts

3) Physical ability

That pretty much describes The Golden Calf of Bristol's strengths in order, right?

Ignore the title. The article talks about where some the QBs could go in the draft, and who could fall in our laps. once again. Ignore the title!

Of the only ones that Gantt mentions that could fall to us, I would only be high on Pike and he's likely to go late in the first round anyway. No chance in hell does Bradford fall to us.

Exactly. This is why I said way back in preseason that Fox would want The Golden Calf of Bristol if he was available and Fox was still here.

Our scouts really need to do homework and find a great QB 4th rd or beyond.

As soon as we draft one we need to get him in competition for starting role ASAP.

I'll let you in on a little secret. There are hardly ever, almost never, "great QB's" in the 4th round and beyond. If there were then teams would not spend massive amounts of money on drafting 1st overall. Brady, Romo, Delhomme, Warner, Orton those are some of the exceptions not the rule. A lot of luck goes into getting a late round QB that turns into a gem.

    • That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil
    • I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy.   Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
