Everybody is riding Jarret like a bad mule right now, but I really just think that he needs a couple games to shine. If you put him in the starting slot instead of Moose, I think he could be a great possesion WR. Moose is too old to me to still be a viable threat on the field, even though I know he deserves it. Jarret just needs some time on the field and a bigger role to become great.

Martin wasn't just activated bc of his Wr skills, he made a few blocks that kept Stewart going and was also used on ST. Not every WR makes plays by catching the ball. I was watching him a good bit during the game and he made the most out of the oppertunities that were give to him.

How many you feel he should have a bigger role on Sunday? They brought him in from the practice squad and he only has 1 catch? If they aren't gonna use him then what's the f'n point! Geez...

Seriously? Don't you think it would help a little bit if he actually had time to learn the play book first? This is just like all the people that claimed that Matt Moore should have been starting much earlier in 07 even though he wasn't in Panthers TC and still only knew a portion of the play book when he did start later in the season. This is real life, not Madden.

He's had the same playbook since practice squad, my point being if you bring a guy in at his position to fill in, why not give him a chance to catch more or run some kickoff/punt returns? We suck at ST might as well give yet another guy a chance to run it back.

    • Anybody got a clue what this is supposed to mean? 🤔
    • I figured as much. Hopefully he's just resting up and will be ready for round 3 (if we make it that far.)  Sucks to see. Hes been our best defender (besides Slavin) in the playoffs so far.
    • I've never bought into the idea. There's just too much at stake, even for front office people. Jobs are lost, trust is lessened, lives are altered, reputations are damaged and more. Throw in that the average front office person isn't as young as the average player. They may not have ten years ahead of them to salvage their careers. Any given year could be their last. The only person not guaranteed to suffer some direct form of consequence from losing is the owner, and even there you still have problems (fan reaction, team reputation, revenue, etc). You've also got massive egos in play on that front so it can get personal. Mind you, I do accept that there are "fire sales" in order to build for the future, but even those have consequences. They don't exactly guarantee success either. Poorly run teams often just wind up in the same circumstance a few years down the road. Sorry gus, but my tinfoil hat just hasn't fit me for quite a while.
