Adalius Thomas will not play tomorrow, coach's decision

seems like a weak decision by belichek, benching a player for complaining about being sent home for being 9 minutes late on a snowy morning. thomas said that he was dumbfounded by belichek's decisions, and not just the one about sending him home.

thomas took a jab at belichek's poor coaching decisions the past few weeks and belichek is punishing him for that. what a whiner

Actually, Thomas is the baby. He got pissy on national television and in subdued words talked poorly of the boss and more. You don't do that. Man up, take being sent home from PRACTICE, and do your damn job come Sundays.

    • You are right. At the same time I don’t think people are watching games going come on Bryce put it on the ground or sail it OB or whatever. They just have trouble seeing him turning his 3 or four or five top games of 2025 into the weekly standard outing. Which you expect for the kind of money he will ask for (speaking for myself anyway).
    • In terms of comparing Pickett and Young's arm talent it's basically a push at best. Pickett is sitting at 6.2 yards per pass attempt for his career while Bryce sits at 6.0 Last season Bryce was 6.3 in yards per pass attempt. Only Justin Fields Spencer Rattler (both 6.2) Kyler Murray (6.0) 41 year old Joe Flacco (6.0) 44 year old Phillip Rivers (5.9) rookie Cam Ward (5.9) and Tyrod Taylor (5.8) had less pass yards per attempt than Bryce Young in his third season as a starter. Folks going around acting as if it is beyond the pale to say Pickett might have a better arm than Young are living in an alternate reality. You can choose to not believe your own eyes after 46 games but everyone else will acknowledge reality and move forward accordingly.
