Fire fox today!

Its monday morning and Richardson has had all of 8 hours to soak in the latest loss. However, he has had 13 weeks to soak in the latest season full of John Fox BS. Once again, a year after we win the division (or just make the playoffs) we are going to be .500 or worse. Most likely...much worse.

The article on the front page couldn't be more spot on. Why keep him around? There really is NO REASON to keep John Fox on for 3 more losses. Who the hell even cares if we manage to beat the Giants or sneak one out against the Saints as they are resting their team? There are no moral victories in the NFL. The name of the game is to make the playoffs and John Fox isn't making the playoffs this year and lets face it people...he isn't making the playoffs next year either. He is too damn stubborn to see his own faults. The most blatant of which stared him in the face for 11 weeks until a phantom injury forced him to sit Delhomme on the bench.

So as far as I'm concerned, Richardson needs to do whatever it takes to re-energize this franchise. Firing Fox and beginning the interview process will be exactly what the franchise and fanbase need to gain some confidence. Take a page out of Ralph Wilson's book Jerry. Get rid of the problem at the root of the cause...
