Jeff Otah on IR...

Glad it’s not a ligament tear.

Should be fun running the ball against the Vikes D without our best run blocking lineman.

Well at least Gross and Otah going down will give our inexperienced depth on the OLine some experience for next season. Who knows we may be more competitive down the stretch and that experience will be invaluable.

At least it appears nothing serious and nothing that is likely to cause a weakness for future injuries.

just got the tweet that it was a tear:

CharlesChandler #Panthers RT Otah's injury to left knee is a torn meniscus.

you think it's going to work?

putting jake on IR will be him putting all his chips in.

I dunno.

This one sounds legit.

But it will be an excuse, he will use it in his end of year interviews, and it will STILL be a situation he set himself up for this offseason.

yep. he and hurney dug themselves in this ugly little latrine they are in now. they really have no one but themselves to blame for not being ready for it.

what it all boils down to is they chose locking up peppers for a year over bringing in solid depth at other positions. even at peppers best he isn't worth all of that. add to that committing themselves to jake for several more years....those guys are toast in my book. it just remains to be seen if that is so for richardson.

"you can't predict injuries" but you sure can get yourselves in better position to absorb losses. they didn't. they gambled and lost.
