John Fox Hasn't Learned A Thing

Reminisce of the Giants game

2 timeouts left, enough time

Instead of running the ball to get close as possible. He run the clock down, call a timeout and kick a long one. Then we got a false start, which set us back even more

I'm sorry I'm not with that after last week. Have enough time and timeouts, get real close... then kick. Dont let the clock go down then kick. Better chance making it when closer

But good win. Jumped out early, and they wasted a lot of energy to come back. But we have to stop letting teams back in. But it was a lot of factors to them coming back. Bye week, which means rest for starters. Cause we got a lot of injuries

I don't understand Fox. He gets a lead and sits on it. Deangelo Williams had 143 yards in the first half and hardly plays the second. You lose a 20 point lead. Same as last week. Williams has 4 TDs and doesn't play in OT and they throw 6 passes in the second half.

They win in spite of John Fox, not because of him. That conservatism with the lead makes no sense.

AMEN - He almost lost us this opportunity as well. How bout Jake on the sidelines screaming at the offensive coordinator after the conservative play call (quick pass to Moose) that ended a drive, which led to the Saints scoring run. It is for sure that Fox plays better when we are coming from behind. The man doesn't know how to keep a lead to save his life. Don't mean to complain too much though. Thankful we won! Congrads Panthers fans. We got us a home game!

Yeah....except that wasn't the offensive coordinator. We won the game, we won the division. Some people simply can't appreciate anything

We all know that John Fox is a terrible coach on the field... Esp when we start 2nd half with a lead. Poor game time management, horrible decision making.

I disagree...he's an excellent coach A: when we are behind. B: when the game is close. If we get over a two touchdown lead? He's one of the worst in the NFL.

I agree 100%

    • T-Mac is a nickname, Tet is a shortening of Tetairoa. Like you said below... your name is Jonathan, I could see "Jonny" being considered a nickname, but Jon isn't a nickname, it's a shortening of Johnathan, see the difference? And if your mom named you Jonathan for it's biblical significance/meaning, because she was very religious, I think it would be different. T-Mac is Polynesian, so much in their culture has deeper meaning for them, particularly names.  So for his mom to feel this way, I highly doubt it's just because she likes the name Tetairoa and not Tet, it's much more likely than not to be because the name itself has a deeper meaning in their culture.   Particularly as T-Mac himself has often talked about how much his Polynesian heritage means to himself and his family. And no, I'm not saying all this because of how much he's my guy, if he was just "normal american" and his name was Jonathan and he didn't like fans calling him Jon, I'd probably just say tough poo.  It's that he's Polynesian and I know things like names have a much deeper meaning in their culture than they do in ours for the most part. For whatever it's worth, a quick google search.......
