Why do you say this about Mr.Richardson Zod? Why would he be so adamant against Vick when the Commissioner is basically the one making all this happen? Is it because he doesnt want the franchise to be talked about nationally all the time? Ive noticed ESPN seems to go out of its way to avoid talking about us, sometimes I think thats by design of our front office.

Because he is a convicked felon. The commish has to give Vick a chance in the NFL because if he didn't he'd face lawsuits. As far as espn goes........it must be a conspiracy. They have their favorites and we're not one of them. Ya really need to give up on this race bullshit bud............ya look like a fool.

204-388 52.6% 20 TDs, 13 INTs, 123 rushes, 1,049 yards, (8.1 YPC), 2 rushing TDs

2009 Jake Delhomme stats

178-321 55.5% 8 TDs, 18 INTs, 17 rushes, 60 yards, 0 rushing TDs

hell even this season Vick's QB rating of 93.8 shits all over Delhommes. Not to mention Vick is a bigger star than Delhomme ever has been, he sells a poo load more jerseys all over this country, not just in his market. He's been on the cover of magazines, video games, been a star for Nike. Its no comparison, where Jake has always turned fans off from the Panthers, Vick would draw so many new fans to the Panthers.

Wow you really are stupid. You're comparing Jake's final season as a starter, which he's displayed that he is finished, to Vick's last who wasn't. Compare Delhomme's stats from last year to Vicks last year as a Falcon. Jake >> Vick

And you are actually comparing Vicks 13 passing attempts to Jake of this year? A QB that throws that little and at least completes half will of course have a high QB rating. A fair comparison would be comparing Vick to Matt Moore. In which Moore >>>> Vick. Moore has a higher completion percentage, higher yards per attempt, higher yards per game, and still has a very high QB rating.

Sorry but your analysis of Vick compared to what we already have is laughable at best. You dont know how to fairly compare them because you know when you do, Vick can't touch Moore's and Jake's jock strap.

Cliched as it might sound, the ideal combo of QB need, flexible offensive scheme, rabid fanbase and owner who`s willing to trade for a big name (and not worry about character issues) is probably in Oakland.

You swore it would be Oakland who would take Vick once he was reinstated. Believe it or not Scot, some owners (more than just Al Davis) really do want to win at all costs and arent afraid of their buddies calling them "liberals" or "black QB lovers". They're not afraid of the right calling them soft for putting a black QB like Vick on their team. Go ahead and tell us how Jeffrey Lurie doesnt care about character Scot.

You hotlinked to a page of Delhomme & Vick's stats and call it analysis? LOL. I havent met an Eagles fan yet that would take Delhomme right now for Vick. He's universally accepted as the WORST QB in the league. Ive had fans of opposing teams straight come up to me and tell me they felt sorry for me for having to root for a team with such a joke of a signal caller. Its quite embarassing. You said yourself Delhomme is FINISHED, Vick will be playing in the playoffs next month, so by your own words, Vick is better than Delhomme is now. Moore isnt better than Vick and wont see the $$$ or attention Vick will in the offseason. He may be offered a contract from Carolina, but thats it. No one's offering picks to get Moore. You know it, I know it, we all know it. Look I posted the most current stats, and they dont lie, Michael Vick is the far more dangerous QB and passer than Delhomme. Michael Vick would do well in Carolina and is better than Delhomme, Moore, Feeley, & McCown.

Delhomme is finished, but if you're going to compare stats, you have to do them fairly. Comparing a finished QB to anyone would be unfair. So if you're going to compare Jakes stats to Vicks, compare them prior to this season.

RIGHT NOW, Vick may be better than Delhomme, but Moore is better than both of them. And the Eagles are not in the playoffs because of Vick. You can try to make that arguement, but you'll still get laughed at because he's had very little to do with why they are in the playoffs by completing less than half his pass attempts.

It's all he's got. He knows he can't win based on facts, so he tries to cast his opponents as racist. Anyone who knows me would laugh at the idea. But again, when all you have are weak arguments, I guess you have to resort to something. This is his thing.

Its well known you doubted Moore could do what he's doing now. Its well known you are 1 of Jake's biggest apologist and have put him above the rest of the franchise and their fans for quite some time. Its well known you offered that Jake's extension made good sense.

Scot you were in here telling us Dan Morgan aint knowledgeable enough to be speaking on us getting Vick. The only person who looks stupid is you. All those threads you're linking were after it was quite obvious Delhomme was done. Hotlink your "A change is unlikely" thread, or one of your threads from this past offseason praising Delhomme. Or who can forget your thread telling us to feel sorry for what the 42 million dollar man is going thru right now. :lol:

      I went to Canes games back in '04 & '05 when you were probably still a swimmer waiting to make your dad a father. There was no one there bc they sucked. Some of the lowest attendance in the NHL. As a Panthers fan coming off a SB season (03-04), I couldn't even believe they put a hockey team in Raleigh, and given the attendance, a lot of people speculated they would be relocated somewhere back up north where they would be supported and not "Mayberry." Seriously, educate youself.  That is reality. That being said, comparing that environment to 2024 Canes would be disingenuous. I was at PNC last year and know how great the current environment is. Comparing the current environment at BOA to 10 years ago is just as disingenuous.  Just bc you didn't witness how good BOA is when the Panthers are actually decent doesn't change reality. Seriously, surely you see that coming from such an elitist environment like the globally renowned world-class city of Raleigh, NC... I guarantee you if you went to a Canes game and a Panthers game in 2005, the difference would be unreal bc the Panthers were awesome and the Canes were (at the time) a moribund franchise. I have been in BOA when the whole stadium was rocking. You simply are young, don't know what you're talking about, but want to portray yourself as having knowledge about things you simply don't. You have a lot in common with modern day politicians and televangelists Like I said, Idiocracy has prevailed... Have a great day too!

I'm done after this bc I'm punching down intellectually here... The Panthers have been bad for 6 years now. You are obviously young and not overly educated based off the "dunks" you're putting out there that certainly are, so let me educate you today on the Panthers. The Panthers sold out for well over a decade straight. BOA has been as good an environment as there is when the team is good.  Fan support for the Panthers has been incredible when the team has even remotely reciprocated. The idea that Charlotte doesn't support the Panthers is utter BS. People in Raleigh have the biggest little brother syndrome of all time... Nobody outside of the Triangle cares about any of your "vaunted" sports team outside of Duke-UNC in basketball on a national scale. Sure, the Canes are great. But nationally, the WWE dwarfs the NHL in ratings. More people care about Cody Rhodes than Sebastian Aho... or anyone else in the NHL for that matter... I doubt less than 5% of anyone in this state outside of Raleigh even knows who that is... that's a knock on Aho who is a great player, it's just the NHL barely makes a ripple in the overall hierarchy of American sports. It's not in the same universe as the NFL or NBA no matter how badly you want to tell yourself otherwise. Raleigh is not a big-time sports city, no matter how much you want to scream into the abyss about it. Neither is Charlotte. But no one here is making such a nonsense argument... LOL it's good to be young and to be ignorant enough to be confidently wrong... WTF are you even on this board though since Charlotte is so beneath you? There is an actual discussion board on this very site for Raleigh sports since they are so superior...  Maybe it's bc I'm watching Idiocracy with my son, but your timing is perfect, my man...
