Jesus H, some of you guys really cannot stop your b*tching. We obliterate the Gianst in their home, we crush the Vikings a week earlier, and all you can talk about is how Fox might stay in Carolina now?

I cannot for the life of me understand why you all swarm to the boards after a 41-9 victory and start pounding away on your keyboards with every thing you can think of to throw against Fox. No back to back winning seasons, he didn't win the game the players did, Kalil is speaking the company line, he would start Jake if he could, he put players on IR to help his case, b*tch b*tch b*tch b*tch b*tch b*tch b*tch. You guys try to explain away everything that happens and turn it against Fox.

STFU. Honestly. Let Richardson make the decision in the offseason. No amount of your incessant b*tching on the message boards will change his mind. Fox will stay or go, for better or for worse, but for now enjoy the win and for the love of god, STOP F*CKING B*TCHING.

Who are you, the message board police or something? People have the right to their opinions dude. Take a few deep breaths and relax, it's just a message board :)

I understand that, I never said you weren't allowed to b*tch. I was just making a plea for it to stop (a forceful and very aggravated plea, but a plea nonetheless) for atleast a few hours after a win like the one we just had. But you just can't please some people.

I'm just as angry about the season as a whole as the next fan, but with a win like this I'm able to look past that for a short time, and celebrate with my fellow fans.

The point is that a win that dominating just shows you the potential of this team and while it was GREAT to watch now, it would have been phenomenal to watch from the first snap of the damn season because it's the same damn team minus Jake Delhomme and inserting Matt Moore. Hell, it's even worse when you consider that Otah, Gross, and Williams didn't even play. Our team down that many star players STILL dominated a team that was slated to go to the playoffs and was in it right to the very end.

That's why this win is equal parts awesome and frustrating. Because it shows that without the blind loyalty to Jake, we had a QB on the roster all along that was capable of running our offense when our singular problem was getting production out of our offense.

It's bittersweet because a team that could probably run with the best teams in the division was crippled by poor coaching decisions and when that decision was taken out of its hands, the team coached itself into two dominating wins against excellent opponents.

He deserves no credit. The playcalling is not winning us games, the players are winning us games. There were still tons of questionable calls that the players willed to work and there is still the fact that Moore, the best QB on our roster, was riding the bench for the important part of the season because of mediocre play in meaningless preseason games.

The offense in particular looks good because Matt Moore looks good. He's opening up the running game because he can do something Jake could not, which is establish his arm in the first drive of the game and make the opposition defend the pass. Our offensive line is great. Our runningbacks are great. The only problem with our offense was that nobody respected our passing game for the first 11 games of the season.

With as much natural talent as we have on that side of the ball, anybody on the board could call a decent game when Stewart is gashing for 6 yards a carry. Run - Run - Pass - Run - Pass - Run - TD ..... is that really hard when you have players that execute?

So if the players are the sole reason were winning, could I make the argument they were the sole reason we lost when we were losing games?

If you give John Fox crap for losses then you give him props for winning.

Yes, you could easily make the argument that the players were the sole reason we were losing. In specific, Jake Delhomme. There is a reason that the QB is the most important player on the team. If he is unable to take care of the football, creates turnovers, three and outs, and simply is unable to keep the offense on the field or to put up points, then the defense has to be THAT much better for twice as long to keep the whole team in the game. That kind of pressure takes its toll on the defense when they force a 3 and out and then Jake throws a pick three plays later and puts the defense up against it in their own end.

The reason that is a coaching problem is that Fox and company failed to react quickly enough when it became obvious that Delhomme was creating this kind of turmoil in games as opposed to helping us win football games. When your quarterback looks bad, everybody on the team looks bad. The WR look bad because they don't put up numbers. The running game looks bad because they're stacking the box. The offensive line looks bad because the QB is holding the ball too long or they've lost faith and can't motivate themselves to protect a guy who is going to hold it for 6 seconds and fumble on the sack and then look at you like you did it.

Now that we have Matt Moore in the game, it's like a different team. Everybody is motivated, the defense is making plays and getting off the field, and the offense is having 8 minute drives that allow our defense to get a blow on the sidelines and come out fired up to get another stop.

Every fan here knows the team has looked a LOT better under Moore than Delhomme. Fox should have seen it before we did because he's the guy getting paid to see it.

Look if you want to make that argument, and give Fox crap about Delhomme, thats fine. But its a different argument. To say players are the sole reason of theses blowouts. And has nothing to do with the coaching, game planning, or play calling is a little strong.

And the bold part earns rep. Panther fans need to stop accepting mediocrity

Our game today & last week is mediocritiy?? I didn't know any wins is consider mediocre. Interesting. :P

But seriously, when did we said we accept mediocritiy? We accept....winning, which we did today & last week. Plus, maybe this will help light a fire under Fox's ass & make him stop being too loyal & conservative if he return next season. Again, don't put words in our mouth on claiming we accept mediocritiy when we never said that. Yes, it was mediocritiy when we started that game against the Eagles, but now our defense are stepping up along with our offense. We need to keep that when next season start.

Lets see team plays like crap when a game is on the line but when there is nothing on the line they light it up? Yeah nice coaching there Fox.

Pretty much this.

I mean, I guess it's awesome that we finally subbed out our joke of a quarterback and opened things up a little when it's too late.

We can stick our moral victory in the trophy case, show it off.

Every season people say this. Next season Fox will learn from his mistakes. Next season we'll draft/develop/sign a #2 WR. Next season Fox will stop over ruling his coordinators. Next season Fox will manage to win back to back.
