Smith should have got in over Allen. I've never seen Allen play, but from what I hear, all he does is pass rush. Smith plays the run, rushes the passer, and is just a better DE overall. But, I've never seen Allen play... I like being spoonfed from ESPN.

Most Saints fans are just saying Will Smith had a better overall year than Julius Peppers. Yet, he's not a starter.

I personally think Will Smith got robbed.

5 reason JP made it over Will smith

1. Pep played 4-5 games with a broken hand and still is only 3 sacks behind smith.

2. Smith plays on a better dline while Pep has played without his best DT and his back up and his back up not to mention nagging injuries too the other DE position. Still only 3 sacks behind smith.

3. Smith Offence is way better then Pep's delhome led crap. It's alot easier too get sacks when your up by 3-4 td and the other team has too pass all game. Not too mention all delhome TO put Pep and the boys backs against the goaline most of the time. Hard too pass rush with a bad QB. Still only 3 sacks behind smith.

4.Pep is better all around then smith better in pass coverage. Can rush from inside and outside and better against the run. Pep has also forced 2 safeties this year which does not show in the stats.

5. All the stuff Pep does that are not talked about. Pep causes more False starts then any other DE. Should get more holding penalties going his way because he gets held at least 4-5 times a game and he blocks more kicks then smith.

Smith didn't get snub Pep is better then him and fans can read between the stats and see the facts. Beason was robbed even other Miami LB alums feel he is way better then Vilma.

Pep also doesn't give consistent effort while Smith does. While he may more talented than Smith I'll take Smith any day as I know I will get consistent effort. He's also a leader in the lockerroom while Peppers has probably caused division.

Pep is a victum of his own athleticsim. Since he is such a freak of nature people expect him too have 35 sacks and 180 tackles a year and dominate every game. If he doesen't people they question his effort.

Example: Jarred Allen has 13.5 sacks this year. He got 7.5 in 2 games. So was he not showing effort for the other 13 where he only had 6 sacks? Nobody every question Allen "who has the best motor since the Honda civic" right.

I can't believe Beason didn't get it. Out of any of the Panthers, I thought he was an absolute #1 pick. What a load of crap, seriously.

No offense to Patrick Willis. He totally deserves his spot. But freaking Jonathan Vilma!? Absolutely not. That spot should have been Beason's. Yet another reason for me to hate the Saints. Yes, I am being extremely petty about this.

Jonathan Vilma has been to a Pro Bowl before and is on a winning team. Thats why Beason was snubbed. The fact is Beason is miles ahead of Vilma in talent.

Remember that year Chris Jenkins Made the Pro Bowl and everyone was like what.........

In 2007 he was asked to beef up to defend the run by then coordinator Gary Gibbs and wasn't as effective in pass rushing. A year later he had a hernia and had his worst season to date, which is understandable. He's had a career year this year and looks like the player he was in his 1st three years in the NFL.

Pep had Mike rucker and al wallace in front of him both better then darren howard. He had no problems. Plain and simple ask all 31 other teams who wold they rather have Pep or smith. What do you think they would say? i think you already know and it hurts you inside.
