Now that I have your attention, time for shameless promotion.

Please check out some of the songs on my Celtic Rock band's new album at our website and let me know what you think!!

Honest feedback is always appreciated.

Also, the CD release party for this album is on March 27th at Puckett's Farm Equipment, if you like what you hear you can come purchase the full album at the show for only $5.

Not bad at all bud...

The website must've had a lot of traffic or something at first because it was taking forever... But it eventually loaded...

The music is pretty good, although I'd offer that the pipes are a little too loud in the mix for my liking... but that could just be me...

Overall, cool stuff... While it may not be my favorite style or genre or whatever, music in any form has value and I appreciate it... I wouldn't mind seeing you play live sometime...

I like what I heard for the most part. The upbeat tempo is nice and the Celtic musical style blends surprisingly well with rock and roll. I would have to agree with SLJ though. The bagpipes are a little too loud in that mix for my taste. They kind of over power the other instruments and throw off a little bit of the cohesiveness. Other than that I think it's very refreshing to hear something more original than all the bands that are trying to emulate radio rock out there. Can't wait to see you guys sometime!

    • Kalkbrenner and Sion James received regular contracts and not two ways, so the Hornets have some work to do to cut the roster size down.
    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
