Could we get...

Doubtful.

Dumerville will likely be locked up in Denver either via a restricted or franchise tender, provided they can't reacha long term deal. He literally can only play passing downs though, which makes him less useful to us. Regardless, we would have to fork out draft picks AND a hefty contract for him.

No idea what will happen with Seymour, probably franchised, but if not he will be the number one DL to hit free agency. That will result in $$$.

Brown will be coveted, but not to the degree that Seymour would be and thus he would be more likely. Think Kemo sized contract for him I would assume.

One contract is always more managable than two, so whilst the total sum might be less, the combined contracts will make life much harder and more expensive.

Yea, the scenario would never happen.. but just in terms of money.. Dumerville and Seymour's cap number would be way less than $20million (if we franchised Pep). I would guess Dumerville and Seymours combined cap number would be around $10 million combined in the first year of their contracts.

Nope, not without a salary cap in place because you'll have to get in a bidding war with the Skins over any available FA of any value now.

Good news is: Cowboys + playoffs = no premium FA signings... at least that's how I understand it.

So they will not only go one-and-done but they'll have to sit on the sidelines and watch the FA market... BAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
