I'm not that worried about their team that much, either.

But the scenario you suggest of Svech taking on Panarin will only result in penalties for the Canes. NY will get the vast majority of the calls, just like they did today.

Playing short-handed against the Rags and refs will be difficult.

      A tough loss, for sure. But it's 2-1 right now. Canes played the 1st well, the 3rd desperately, and controlled OT1. Neither team had legs come OT2, and it was going to be a sloppy goal that ended the game.  Big time players show up in big time games. Carolina doesn't have one of those. A collection of some really good players, yes. Do they have the ability to win 3 out of 4? Sure. But it'll take a helluva lot more than what we've seen to this point. A lot more.
