This usually only counts either last year's number of only includes those under contract for the upcoming year and as such are highly inaccurate. Just including 3 players next year who are free agents, Peppers, Moore and Davis will add another 25 million to our salaries.

We were 12th at 112 million. Saints were 4th at 121 million

It's funny how people rag on Jerry Jones for throwing around money, yet he's at the bottom of the league and in the Playoffs.

Keep in mind that these are salaries or actual money paid out not cap figures. If for example we sign Peppers longterm and pay him a 30 million signing bonus, his cap number could be 10 or 11 million but his salary for 2010 would be over 30 million which would shoot up our numbers into the top 5. Dallas didn't sign big names in 2009. If he does in 2010, that number could be very different.

    • I knew very little about this player before we drafted him. When I read scouting reports about him I understood the pick and thought it made sense as a late round receiver with speed and special teams ability but after watching him more closely and now adding his interviews into the equation I'm actually really excited about him. I know it's just RMC but I noticed him running his routes with this extra step that really stood out to me during the general video posted earlier without realizing who it was doing that.  His speed in his first cut is just on another level and it's visible. When I saw it I was **** whoa, who was that?! Then I saw Horn JR. and my first thought was oh it's him. I think it's very possible that he was under appreciated going into the draft due to his height and stats because he played at Colorado where the attention was on 2 other players but I think this dude's ceiling is way higher than most think it is. Especially after watching his interview. He looks hungry. I may have found my fav rook for this year's pre-season. I like pulling for underdogs anyway and as someone who played on the small side myself it just gives me more reason to cheer for him. The competition at WR looks like it's going to be fierce this season. I honestly can remember any preseason where I looked at out wr group and got past 3 players who I thought were interesting but this season I'm interested in at least 5 who have my attention going into the season.
    • Wilson should be getting called for at least 3 penalties a night even in the post season. How does he not lead the NHL in PM???
