Game 50: Wizards vs. Bobcats

Tonight's game at Time Warner Cable Arena is against a division opponent in the Washington Wizards. While in the grand scheme of things this game isn't make or break, it sure feels like a game we've got to have. After coming off a demoralizing loss to the Hornets after leading by 10 at half, we have to come out strong and beat a team we're supposed to beat. Wizards are on a high after coming back from 19 in the third quarter in their last game against the Magic to secure a 92-91 win.

In other news, Tyson Chandler could make his return tonight. He has been out since before Christmas and is looking to get back in the rotation. Although Larry Brown stated he wouldn't be starting tonight, he could see some minutes coming off the bench. Brown also stated that he sees Tyson starting once he gets back into the swing of things, which sucks for Nazr, who has performed well up to this point. With or without Chandler, this game is one we got to have. Go Bobcats!

This is the second meeting (of 4) between these two teams. Bobcats won convincingly back in late November 92-76.

Game is at 7 pm. No TV for tonight's game, so the only way to watch this one is in attendance or through League Pass.

Great write up on the game radio killer. And I agree, tonight is a MUST WIN. I want to see us go into the break above .500. GO BOBCATS!!!

Thanks man, and yes we need to win these next 2 to get above .500.

Also, did you make that Jax icon/avatar? If so, is there anyway you can make me a Wallace one if you get chance?

    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
    • I'd give anything to go back to a 4-3 but we are so removed from having the pieces for that. All because Tepper wanted to force this 3-4 on all our coaches.
