He's lucky, but man is he good.

Red Bull looked good, I think Speed is finally getting the feel of everything. Vickers was in the top-10 most of the day too. I wonder if they learned from last year when they used up everything in the summer.

And is it just me, or is Speed getting insane fuel mileage?

Memo to self. Ride Scott Speed in fantasy.

RCR as a whole really looked great today. Let's see if they can stay that way the whole season, though.

Roush was a big disappointment. This is typically their house but they couldn't even lead a single lap today!

what they said.

Plus I hate it because NASCAR took the labor day race from Darlington and put it at this crap track.

Used to be rockingham's week :(

Amen to both of the above quotes. RIP North Carolina Motor Speedway (Rockingham). Racing is not the same at the Rock w/o NASCAR involved.

And the Southern 500 just doesn't feel right in May. It's tradition to have the Southern 500 on Labor Day weekend.

Yeah you know what's funny. Rockingham was criticized for not selling out tickets.

There were a bunch of empty seats yesterday although the capacity is much larger. Could have been the rain I guess

I believe the same criticism was levied against Darlington which was the rationale for them losing one date.

Along with Cali, I'm also a proponent to take a race away from Atlanta. They can't fill their seats either AND it rains there every other time they go there.

Naw, that's just how it is with Southern California. Just look how hard is it for the Chargers to have a sell-out.
