So I think the Panthers get two franchise tags this round and they have to be put out this week. Who is it going to be?

This got me to thinking, how likely is it that Moore will be tagged? Also does anyone know what this will cost compared to his last seasons salary?

Let's face it, he is pretty high on the list of prospects but for some reason (Jake?) I don't think the panthers want to sign him to a big deal otherwise they really should have done so already. However I do think the general consensus is that he has definitely earned the chance to start for a whole season.

A tag would mean we get him for a year, see what he can do with in 16 games and then could sign him. The drawback is him kicking major butt and demanding an even bigger contract.

I have no idea who the other prospect could be, maybe Davis just to see how he is after his surgery before signing a deal.

I do think Panthers FO is hesitant to screw up the QB position again, perhaps this is the reason to the delay in doing anything but time is definitely running out.

The Panthers, and the other 31 NFL teams get 1 Franchise tag and 2 Transition tags to use...

If Pep isn't franchised, I doubt anyone will be tagged at all, as our other unrestricted free agents aren't worth that much money...

It's quite simple to research such things before you come make an uninformed post... In fact, I myself have broken the situation down in several threads here...

Sorry Sam, to yank your chain while your PMSing, but I'm not going to search all your posts and could care less about your opinion (again I apologize). I have numerous questions in my original post not just one, included one which is asking for opinions. Talk about uninformed.

I am here, on the panthers forum to talk about the panthers. Your going to have to learn to live with that.

I'm an idiot so far you have two worthless posts in here and even a link to a thread that is probably the most stupid I have seen.

Read the post I am asking fro input on how you guys think the tags will be used, even if its opinion based. I also care about more than just YOUR input, sorry to discourage you.

This is what a forum is, if all you want are official updates stick to articles. Or you could be an adult and do us all a favor by avoiding threads you don't really care about.
