Tearful LT talks about leaving

The only tears Peppers shed was tears of joy when he found out he was leaving us.

That's because we was held captive here for a few years by Hurney & co even after making it clear he didn't want to be here. He stayed because he basically had to but more importantly was happy to take the major $ at 2 million a game. Can you really blame him?

Peppers is a victim of his own greed and Hurney is a victim of his own idiocy.

Why is everyone so mad he doesn't want to play here, so the f**k what?...cya Pep! Thankfully its over.

Situations aside (which are not the same), do a few tears and platitudes make someone a "better person"? You can argue that he was a better teammate, but better person...? Basically, LT is LT and Pep is Pep. They are two totally different individuals and personalities.

Some of you guys just fail to even try and see things from Pep's point of view and/or don't understand the business side of football. Pep is arguably the best player in Panthers history. He is on his way out. Have some class and let him go in peace. Though you may not believe that he lived up to his potential, he still was a valuable and valued member of the Panthers.

Amen and rep!

Anyways, LT's got a 2-3 years left in him. I hope he comes back strong, as well.

    • Carolina Way is gone, it went out the window with the Belichick hiring. They'll hire the best coach they can, ignoring everything else if possible.    Athletic reports that the school's top two targets are Tommy Lloyd and Billy Donovan. They don't care the buyout for a coach either, they and the boosters are willing to spend and will be going outside of the coaching family tree 100%.
    • I don't think it's a homer though when I really feel this team can beat anyone.  The points that can be scored in bunches when the big three are on has high potential.  Moose has effort for days and IMO is the heart of the team.  And didn't see Miles becoming the team "vet" in the starting lineup just roleplaying lol.   We have to limit the turnovers though (Brandon Miller I'm looking at you bud, you are a bad ball handler) and some little things.   Colby off the bench is a cheat code and him and Kaulk have a nice little game going with the picks.    Sion playing every game and just getting better each game.  He has grit.  Grant and Green also grit.  We need replace Tillman with PJ Hall though.  Tillman looks like someone that shouldn't be on an NBA court, or at least with this team, he's just too slow for this tempo.   Even McNeely looked decent tonight and can drive.   If Kaulk and Moose could even be like 30% 3pt shooters man....
