Bring the hate

Recommended Posts

Yall might hate this comment, but if The Golden Calf of Bristol falls to the 3rd, I would love to pick him up as a project QB. He is a winner and has amazing work ethic. I do not like Florida, but the kid is pretty much the exact opposite of Peppers. He wants to play the game. I think the panthers could use a player like that on the roster!

No thanks the third is much too high to take a FB or project TE.

people will not like it.But if he is there in the 3rd or 4th then why not?Like Mayock said if there is ever a guy your going to take a chance on it will be him.

Why, why would you take a chance on a guy who doesn't have the ability to play QB in the NFL.

The thing is The Golden Calf of Bristol has the ability. Its a matter of can a team take that ability and mold it into a NFL QB

He does......wheres his arm strength, accuracy and decision making then. He would make a decent option in the wildcat thats about it. Sure he will make some plays in his NFL career that make people say he could be a true QB but the guy will not be consistent enough to be an elite QB and whats the point in drafting someone if you don't think they can be elite.

No one cares enough to hate.

I wouldn't mind it but doubt it would happen. Let Moore start a few years while The Golden Calf of Bristol develops. I'm sure every year there are those of us that think this QB will be great and that QB can't play QB at this level. You never know what your getting outta the draft anyway you only think you know. Some players can and some can't.

He overthrew wide open receivers on a consistent basis during the senior bowl and couldn't take snaps from center the entire week. What more do you need to see on the guy to realize he cant cut it as an NFL QB.

Yea I know it might not appear that way but the point of drafting a kid is because you think they could be a good player and eventually contribute in a positive way to your team.

And this is what I think The Golden Calf of Bristol can do in the right system..eventually contribute. With that said I dont think we will have a shot at him because I think some team will reach for him.I could even see a surprise team like the Pats taking him.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
